The waves are a little too like mountain peaks I think, but hey, we live and learn and it was fun to do.

wow. this one is beautiful. love it.
that’s exactly what the pavements look like up here in scotland today..
great detail in this one..
i love this. i just stumbled onto your blog. i’m going to add you to my blogroll.
Very Edward Gorey and I love it. I like the way the waves look like mountains or treetops. It’s great. Hope Algernon makes it home.
Thanks all, so much.
Craig - that bad up there? - It’s been foul here too.
I agree with Mim Stella, very Gorey and that is meant to be a huge compliment.
I am reading a book of interviews about the man called, I think very fittingly, Ascension to Peculiarity. A very good and interesting read.
Back to your work…I did not think of mountains until I read what you had written and now I see them, a little bit. What if put a wash over them for a little color, would that clarify. Anyway, either way, those are waves without a doubt and the lines are excellent. The figure is also great.
I did see mountains and water, but I liked that they were kind of interchangeable, but yes, putting a wash over them might make them definitely water. I love, love, love it all the same, it is wonderful. You have such a story telling mind.
I like this one…and I like the waves exactly eaggerated like this…it fits in with the bigger whole.

Thanks so much Ammon, Emma and Ronell.
I will try the wash - that’s a great idea, thank you.
